Cursor AI and other AI tools

I’ve been using Cursor AI at work to make an internal too to debug some issues in our system. It’s amazing what this thing can do when you use a popular tech like TypeScript + Zod + Tanstack Start (I wish I tried SolidStart but it didn’t have the type safety I wanted) + Tailwind.

The thing is when you use a popular stack, which the AI had a lot of examples to train on, along with types with a type system as powerful as TS, it’s amazing how fast you can build things. I built a whole dashboard for the internal debugging tool that pulls information from multiple services in a almost a week. And it had a complex UI. While I was doing normal day to day work, so I’d spend a few hours everyday working on it. I’ll present it tomorrow at work and see the feedback. The company is pushing us these days to try out these AI tools. What an exciting time to be in!
